Our history is intimately linked to our fundamental principles and essential concepts, for it was guided by them that we built our successful trajectory.

1976

Commencement of concrete pouring services with Concaprex, in the municipality of Serra/ES.

1981

Concaprex acquires Polimix Concreto and begins its operations in Greater São Paulo.

1983

The acquisition of Ibrata marked the entry into the aggregates sector and the beginning of concrete production activities in Rio de Janeiro.

1998

Inauguration of Mizu Cimentos, in Serra/ES, marking the start of operations in the cement industry.

2001

Acquisition of a quarry in Santana de Parnaíba/SP, expanding operations in the aggregates sector under the Polimix Agregados brand.

2002

Inauguration of Mizu Cimentos' new factory in Pacatuba/SE.

2004

Mizu Cimentos opens new unit in Mogi das Cruzes/SP.

2007

Polimix Concreto expands internationally with its arrival in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The organization enters the bulk logistics sector through the Logmix brand. Polimix Energia strengthens its role in bioenergy with the acquisition of the DVPA (Destilaria do Vale do Paracatu) plant in Minas Gerais and Agrisa in Rio de Janeiro, and advances in renewable energy with small hydroelectric plants in Mato Grosso.

2008

The organization forms a partnership in the industrial lime sector with Unical, in Minas Gerais.
Polimix Agregados begins operations in Duque de Caxias/RJ.

2009

Polimix Concreto continues its international expansion in South America with the Tremix brand in Colombia.

2010

Inauguration of the Mizu Cimentos factory in Rio de Janeiro.
Inauguration of the concrete waste recycling unit in Santana de Parnaíba/SP.
Inauguration of the new Polimix Agregados quarry in Santana de Parnaíba, the largest in Latin America.

2011

Inauguration of the Formare Polimix School, which offers vocational education courses for young people in situations of social vulnerability.
Polimix Agregados arrives in the Northeast and begins its operations in Pernambuco, Alagoas, Ceará, and Maranhão.

2012

Polimix Concreto carries out its first concrete pouring in Bolivia, in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
Inauguration of Mizu Cimentos' largest factory in Baraúna/RN.

2013

Beginning operations in the mortar sector in the Southeast region, with the Ecomix and Construcola brands.
Mizu Cimentos arrives in Minas Gerais.
Inauguration of the Formare Mizu School in Baraúna/RN, serving young people from the city and region.

2014

The Porto Central Project is launched to develop a major port complex in Espírito Santo. Polimix Concreto begins operations in Lima, Peru. The company strengthens its presence in the industrial lime sector with the inauguration of CNN – Cal Norte Nordeste – in Rio Grande do Norte. Mizu Cimentos opens its new factory in Manaus, Amazonas. Polimix Concreto also expands into North America, starting operations in the United States.

2015

Inauguration of Polimix Ambiental in Santana de Parnaíba/SP, which transforms unusable tires into carbon black, fuel oil, and steel, using advanced technology.

2016

Expansion of Polimix Aggregates with the opening of two new quarries in São Paulo, in the cities of Barueri and Guarulhos.

2018

Polimix Agregados expands its operations in Rio de Janeiro and begins operations in Inhaúma, in the northern part of the city.

2019

GreenMix begins operations supplying stabilized fine concrete for laying, coating and other applications.

2021

Polimix Agregados expands with a new unit in Seropedica, Rio de Janeiro.
Mizu Cimentos inaugurates an advanced bagging unit in Fortaleza, Ceará.

2022

Acquisition of Lançamix, a company located in the city of São Paulo that offers pumping solutions.
Polimix Agregados begins operations in Campo Grande - MS.

2023

Inauguration of the second concrete waste recycling unit in Guarulhos/SP.
Polimix Energia is building the Mundo Novo Wind Farm in Rio Grande do Norte for self-production of renewable energy.
