Polimix Agregados receives concrete waste and, through a crushing process, transforms it back into raw materials for the construction industry. Its two units in São Paulo have the capacity to produce 720,000 tons/year of sustainable aggregate, certified by ABRECON (Brazilian Association for Recycling Construction Waste).
We believe that renewable and clean energy is the path to a more sustainable and responsible future. Operating since 2007, Polimix Energia develops solutions that balance energy efficiency and environmental preservation for our Organization. With a diversified portfolio and a focus on renewable sources, currently encompassing Wind, Solar, Small Hydroelectric Power Plants (SHPs) and an independent Energy Trading company, we guarantee that the Organization's electricity supply comes from clean energy.
Generation Assets:
• Wind Energy: Located in Rio Grande do Norte, the Mundo Novo Wind Farm complex, with an installed capacity of 103.5 MW, began commercial operation in January 2024, supplying electricity to all 10 cement factories, allowing it to supply 450,000 MWh/year of clean energy;
• Solar Energy: With 41 solar plants installed, totaling 4.6 MW of installed capacity, in 17 Brazilian states, supplying clean energy to 186 concrete units;
• Small Hydroelectric Power Plants (PCHs): Located in the state of Mato Grosso, the 4 generation assets complement the Organization's energy matrix, totaling 60 MW of installed capacity, generating 280,000 MWh/year.
DVPA (Destilaria do Vale do Paracatu) and Lagos Bioenergia received the Efficient Production and Importation of Biofuel Certificate - RENOVABIO, with an energy-environmental efficiency rating that resulted in decarbonization credits (CBIO). Each CBIO is equivalent to 1 ton less carbon in the atmosphere from the use of biofuel, compared to its fossil fuel equivalent.
